Microsoft PowerToys<\/a> has quietly become one of the best ways to supercharge Windows 11. While most people know about FancyZones or PowerRename, fewer realize how many PowerToys features directly enhance File Explorer itself. These add\u2011ons make navigation faster, file management smarter, and your workflow noticeably smoother.

1. Preview Pane Add\u2011Ons (File Explorer Add\u2011Ons)<\/strong>

Best for: Quickly previewing files without opening them. PowerToys extends the built\u2011in Preview Pane with support for additional formats - Markdown (.md), SVG images, PDF (enhanced), G-code and developer files like .json, .yaml, and .log.

Just enable the Preview Pane with Alt + P, then click any supported file to see an instant preview.
Perfect for developers, writers, and anyone who works with structured text.

2. PowerRename<\/strong>
