Activate End Task Feature in Windows 11 Apps
If you want to add an “End Task” option to the apps on your Windows 11 taskbar, the good news is that Microsoft actually built this feature in, but it’s disabled by default on many systems.
To enable this option:-
- Open 'Settings'
- Go to System - For Developers.
- Scroll down to “End Task”. You’ll see a toggle labelled “End task” under the Developer Mode section. Now turn it on.
Once enabled, you can right‑click any app on the taskbar, and you’ll see a new option: End task. This instantly kills any open process you are running at that particular moment.
